Making my first major trip in my DSM what should I check?

As the title says, I'm going to Indiana which is about 320 miles and 5 hours away, and instead of taking my Camaro like I usually do, I want to take the DSM. Aside from tires what should I check so that I won't have any issues before I go. The oil will be changed before I go and the timing belt has been changed 12k ago. Thanks in advance.

check everything and dont dog ## car on the trip unless u dont want to get back...bring a tool kit with u that contains 10,12,14,and 17mm wrenches and sockets just in case something breaks...good luck!!!

Thanks I will have a family member behind me for about 100 miles then it's all me the other 200-250

As long as your car is maintained properly, it should be fine. Fill your washer fluid (if you still have the tank)... I always forget that until I get on the interstate and there's always a giant swarm of bugs that aim for me.

I'll be staying on I-65 right through Indy, your not in the major city area are you? I never liked it.

I'm near Carmel on the north side - it's one of the nicer parts of the city. I couldn't agree more though... the major part of the city is pretty nasty right now. I am almost always CCing if I'm going into downtown nowadays. I moved here only because gas was $4/gallon when I was in the US... it got expensive driving to and from work 60 miles a day. I'm going to end up moving either back to the country soon on the west side or to Columbia, SC in the next month or two. But ya, if you run into trouble just get hold of me... I have AAA and a garage full of crap to fix DSMs.

No washer fluid tank unfortunately . It weighed like 8 lbs full, thats like a free 1/100th of a horsepower dude!

Indiana has some really nice country! Lafayette is getting really bad to, but I'm going to the outskirts towards the country more so I kind of like it. Nothing like living in Kentucky where I can shoot a gun in any direction and not worry though.

It's not too bad, especially out west. There's lots of area where you can shoot with no worry of your backdrop. The KY CC permit works here too, if you have one. If you would have came a few weekends ago you could have gone to the Indy 1500 gun & knife show!

I certainly do have a CC permit
