im thinking about making a custom exhaust. I hae access to a welder and i was thinking about buying 3in. piping and having it bent at the end so it comes out in the stock location. Im on a budget so i was wondering if i could just get an adaptor or something so the new pipe will fit on the stock downpipe. can this be done safely? im planning on porting my turbo when i do the exhaust so i dont get creep. Also where should i go look for 3in piping? just a local exhaust place? (im planning on getting it bent at a shop that i have access to for free..and its mandrel bent but they dont have piping)

You can get the pipe anywhere. For the pipe you can get it through any place like summit, jegs or just do a google on exhaust pipe. If you want to adapt down to the stock downpipe that is easy just buy the correct size flange and buy a reducer again anyplace like summit or jegs will stock that piece. Since you will be running your stock downpipe you won't have problems with creeping.

awesome thanks! also is there any place else to buy 3in stainless steel or aluminium pipes (home depot, menards, exhaust place, ect) in just trying to find things locally
also would porting the turbo really help...im looking to just do minor mods now and upgrade the turbo in a few months.....with the stock downpipe and no cat will there be any boost creep?
thanks again
