I finnaly got my car on the road this weekend and after over a year it is a great feeling. As always there is little things that are going to pop up. During build there was no major mods done to the car. I put a 2g manifold that had been ported and portmatched my turbo to 7cm. I also did the free bcs mod. I have a stock down pipe and a custom 2.5 inch catback. When I had the turbo out of the car I noticed the wg flapper was not aligned over the hole properly. I fixed that right away and attributed that to the excess lag I always had before. Now I am on the other end of the spectrum, Boost is way too high. I have been searching regarding creep and by what I can tell with creep you boost will shoot up to a specified mark and then slowly "creep" beyond that. Now with my car it just shoots right up to 18 psi or around there when I let off hoping I didnt fry anything. I have been thinking it might be the wg actuator that is off. When I am drivning the car it sits down around and not into the throttle the boost is in the -'s like normal. So my question is can the actuator go bad and if it does will you only see the effects when putting your foot into it, or would it effect all aspects of driving? I mean its fun to spin the tires in 1st and 2nd as soon as you hit boost but I would like to keep this one around a while.

Do you got a boost controller? IF so just turn it down. You said you did the free mods, did that include teh bcs? You might have something not connected maybe?

I am running on the stock bcs as of right now. I have a mbc but I have not installed it yet. Ill double check all the lines. Another thought I had was if the lines to the bcs are backwards would that maybe screw things up?

ya that would, just install your mbc and dont change the knob around and see what your boosting, then just turn it to where you want the boost at.

Well just went out for a little test drive. I pulled the actuator arm off and it would only boost to about 3psi at 5000rpm. The bcs hoses are right, so I am leaning twords a bad wg actuator.
