Is there any point to this? I am under the impression that my stock 6 bolt IM is the best option if I want to keep revs relatively low/normal/safe. I have a ported head, hks272, 2.3l 6bolt with an FP red on e85.
If I slap a magnus cast IM on I assume that will move my powerband to the right and that is relatively undesirable for a DD stroker correct? My power-band is already far enough to the right.
See profile for complete mods and current dyno sheet. I don't have enough fuel injector or fuel pump flow for more boost and probably not enough flow for much more RPM.
Mods/TLDR:
2.3l, no BS. Ported head with hks272 and springs. FP HTA red, e85, ~25psi, 500awhp. Rev limit ~7500.
Is a sexy magnus v3 a waste of money? Would it help airflow at all? Would it help spool etc...?
