If I am not mistaken the ignition core on the 1g is connected to the stock intake manifold, where would the core go with the magnus intake mani on?

You aren't mistaken. It's the same with the 2G manifolds. Where to put it? Depends on how creative you get. :D

right on, some custom work, always fun:thumb:

Just finished everything except for trimming the upper intercooler pipe. any 1G guys keep the battery in the factory location?

Finished it today. It freaking rocks. Besides an upgraded turbo, never have I felt such a difference. Everything turned out super clean and fits awesome.

never mind i answered my own question, depending on piping type you will have to cut at least 2" off the upper i/c pipe, and relocate the battery or get a much smaller one. you may also find that the tps conector is a tad short, unless you remove the shroud and route the harness under the manifold. running the harness under the manifold also cleans up the look of the top of the manfold.

If I plan to do a 6 bolt swap and keep my 2G head, how important is it to have the head ported? I know that porting it would be beneficial, but money wise, would it be better spent on porting or the intake manifold? Would the exhaust ports be better to focus on porting wise if I get the intake manifold?

Sorry to bring this back, but I have a question. For the guys who kept the battery under the hood, what kind did you use? I was thinking of a Honda Civic size replacement battery. Will this work? My stock battery died and I will be getting this manifold in the next month so I might as well get the smaller battery now. Please help ASAP so I can get my car back on the road. Thanks
