First of all you better ####ing watch who your calling a ricer.

Secxond...i was tryign to check out the website, and its down for construction. i work nearly 10 hours a day...adn the times i work i cant call him to contact him. Thats why i was asking on here. And I didnt say i was going to compete once. I said im just gonna be as fast as him. period. I go overseas for 4 monhts and bring home 8 grand. After 2 or 3 trips it will be done. Im not sayin gim gonna race with him in nopi series. I just said its going to be as fast....so STFU

But ive heard good th ings about magnus. and i was wondering your thoughts about em. And the specifics on internals on it.

well the apexi BB turbo......i want tit to be all apexi....just cause thast what i like. It may not be a t-66....but from what ive researched its right around the same trims. Though i could always be wrong. But if the apexi BB turbo can hold up to a 1,000 hp skyline. it can handle my 5 or 600 hp dsm.

like i said,....i want all apexi. It might cost more but its what i want. i dont mind waiting.i have a nice truck to drive until i get it done
 
You will never be just as fast as shep, you will never even be within 2 seconds of him most likely. I doubt your car will ever run faster than a 10.5 which is ####in flying. Shop owned cars cannot go as fast as him, what makes you think you will. Funding will not allow you to go that fast plain and simple. Shit breaks, tuning needs to be done constantly, etc.

If you do have enough funding, why the hell are you building a DSM and not a fbody or something. It will be alot cheaper to go faster.

OK .....olet me make somethign clear.
Your right...i may not be as fast as shep....but i said i wanna be up there with him. I want to have one of the fastest dsms on teh east coast period. Like i said, i know its go nna take alot of money, but i still spent 25 grand on a spyder total......an i only paid 10 grand for it. I dont mind spending the money if im going to be happy.

As far as the fbody comment ......why are you on the site?
 
aqnd im not a newbie. i knwo you have to tune it for diffrent humiditys, locations, elevations stuff liek that. im not stupid.

He has a 2g GS-T Spyder platform, which has to be the worst platform ever to build a drag car out of. Not only are 2g's heavier, it's a convertible, and its FWD. Before the flames start about just bolting on slicks to a FWD, yeah, that will work. Look at Kiggly. 26in slicks, wheelie bars, and just roasting the tires off going down the track. I talked to him in chat a few months back, he said he had tried to up the boost a bit, and couldn't hook for shit. This is a front halved tube frame drag only car. You're trying to run high 8's with a brick.. not happening.

I've seen pics of your car, it looks really clean, but that doens't make it an 8 second ride.

yes......you would have a reputation nadf a valued opinion if it was a god rep......but its ok...ive been put in touch wiht someone to talk about building me one. its ok....youll see in a few years....

Time on this site has NOTHING to do with calling an 8 sec GST Spyder a stupid idea. Why don’t you tell us what car you are planning to build.
 
No actially i chose APEX based on my experiences w ith them and their features.

What other boost controller is rev based on teh market? I just happen to liek the power fc better than AEM EMS. and i like their BOV becaus ei had it as well as an N1 exhaust because i had one. I have had enough experience to know what i wanna go with. everyone has their own preferences.

So for all the ricer comments you really should read some of my other posts before you make those coments nad look at my profile nad mod lists. Im not terribly fdast wiht my last car, but i sold it because a convertible wasnt a practical car for the track, nor was my car a great daily driver. Which is why i sold it and am going to build a real car. The apex turbo might not be the best decisoin, but it will hopld the HP i want to have and id liek to keep everything uniform.
