Ok i wanna do the whole 2.4 thing. I get deployment money 4 months after jan. I wnana drop the 4 grand on the magnus 2.4 egine. But i wanna know is it worth it. and what are the specifics. i went to the site nad its down. hel me out guys...im wantin to get back in the dsm scene

The block consists of Ross pistons (your choice of compression), pauter rods (156mm), clevite bearings, fully balanced. Basically if you have the money this is the best place to get the job done, you wont be dissapointed.

I believe that the short alone is $3500. As for your head not much work is needed, people have put out over 600hp on a stock head with a light port job. I would suggest to get HKS 272 cams though. But if you have the money you can get titanium springs and retainers, 1mm oversized valves, valve guides, and port out the head more.

dear 97 gs spyder, there is a place called dsmconcept in atlanta that has been around for two years next week. come check it out. they have two cars that will be recieving 2.4 motors, one with a t-78, and one with a t-66. :laugh:

yeah i plan on doing everything....oversized valves, springs 272 cams everything. if im gonna do it ...might as well do it right ya know. I dont want a used motor......who knows why they are selling it

Well if those are your plans I would send magnus around $6500 for a completely built 2.4L engine, stage 3 on both.

thats what i was planning.....around 8 grand on a bult motor and turbo ....then get the intercooler nad power fc and all the supporting mods next deployment

Instead of posting on a internet forum about WANTING to buy a magnus 2.4l...why dont you call the man himself and ask him about it. He was very helpful when I called about what supporting mods I would need with the stroker motor. I purchased the 2.4l and sheetmetal intake from him and have not regretted it once. Not to mention the customer service is A+++.

As for wanting to compete with shep ......goodluck with that
