I just installed a maf-t and I set my base settings to 450cc just like the manual said. Fuel cut. I set it to 470cc and fuel cut so I started tuning with my safc and I had to set it to -23% across the board to make the fuel cut stop.
I am running an auto fpr that gives me 43 fp and I have a rewired 190 fuel pump. I am running the maf-t draw through. Once I was able to get the fuel cut to stop I was getting 20+ counts of knock. My wide band reading shows 10:9 and my idc is at 81%.
Question: Should I turn my base setting up to 550 and 0 out the SAFC. I am trying to tune for 17psi of boost on 93 and will be tuning for over 20 at the track. I believe the knock is from heating up the supra side mount from so many runs trying to stop fuel cut. I am going to test that idea as soon as my wife gets home to watch the kids. I want to be able to have a wider tuning abillty with the Safc and not have it so far back.
This is on a 14b.
Thank you for your help
