MAF MODS?? Just dont understand

I was reading on the MAF Mods I took out both nets but I heard something about pulling something out a bit can somebody tell what Is the best way to do it. I mean everything I get most power from it? Thankx

Pulling the screens out is retarded. I don't know what year DSM you have - if you've got a second gen I was told to back the plastic screw (Which is UNDER the MAF) out untill its flush. (Once you look you'll see what I mean.) But removing screening... Yeah ok.

As for a 1G your in my same boat - leave it alone and wait until you get a SAFC, DSM Link or something of that area and swap it out for a 2G MAS, or a 3" GM MAS. Try to be abit more onpoint when asking questions.

Guys I took the screens out already my car dies once in a while but Ill live with it so i can get that sound of the turbo. I was just reading about backing that screw out DSidnt know it was only for second gen. thanx

well as long as you upgrade your ECU to not account for the air going back into the turbo form the bov, i see nothing wrong with it. He just wants all the little NA ricer cars to shut up when he pulls up next to them. ( this is comming from a guy who is actually not doing this just to be considerate fo other people though. Thats my only thing with BOV's with fave whistles on em and such)
