well the insert is in my tranny, going to bolt up my tranny today, so ill let you guys know how i like it.

I have the B&M insert with the stiffer springs. I've had it in the car for about 18,000 miles with no problems whatsoever. It does the job its supposed to do so am happy about it. I don't autox much or go to the drag strip either. Am making close to 400hp so forget about traction but its always fun passing people while spinning LOL. I would get a true LSD but i don't justify spending $1,000 for a quiafe. I'll be getting an Evo soon so that will be my traction machine LOL.

WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!!!

man this thing is awesome. I can feel my car pull forward now instead of going sideways on a launch. dont get me wrong id ont know what a real lsd feels like but damn i think this thing is pretty damn close.

Those of you with them installed, take a second look at what fluid you run in your transmission. Mine's working alot better now that I've switched from Penzoil Syncromesh to a cheapy walmart brand, I'll be making another switch to Valvoline as they don't use any chemicals that leave a wax residue on the gears.

I believe that wax residue was the issue before and why it still doesn't grip well until the tranny comes up to temperature.

what type of fluid is it? i work at a lube shop, so i can pretty much put any fluid in there. i have synchromesh right now, and feels pretty good. what weight is the one you have?

I'll second that. I'm also using synchromesh and am at about ready for the fluid change to get whatever grit that might of been produced from initial use out. Have you had any issues with the tranny...shifting or anything acting up with the switch?

I'm up for anything that might make it act better or last longer.

But on a side note, I love mine, totally different that just a plain open diff. I don't push the car cold so I haven't had any issues with it acting up.
