damnnnn it happened to my 98 rs that i had. i didnt kno there was a recall . im about to change the ball joints on my gsx b4 it happens again to me

Hey I have a question to the op. My car makes a creaking noise when i go over harsh spots in the road. Is that because the ball joint is going bad? thanks.

Most likely...that creaking sound is very distinct. Jack your car up and check all the ball joints. Look for visible rips in the boots etc..

Yeah, I just found out one of my Lower Ball joints is going bad, Its the stock one that I know of. Just replaced Blown Tie Rod ends woo hoo! Those pics are painful BTW.

Fella's Do NOT let the Satan dick you around. Seriously. This is a hazard to not only you as a person but to every other driver on the road. This is the sort of thing lawsuits are built around. Call Mitsu and get a resolution. It's a LIFETIME recall!!!

Wait a second.... is the 1g suspension interchangeable by chance? Like from the A arm out and then just use from the A arm up to the strut???

I went to the Mitsu by my house, they wouldn't touch it, stating that the car has a 'totaled title'. Called the DMV, because the title states that its clean. Well the DMV stated that it was never in a wreck. So I called corporate Mitsu. They towed the car same day to and from my office, and installed new arms.

Wow this worries me...I just picked up my first DSM...2g, 1995, it came with a folder of the work done to it in the past few years, it also came with 30 pages of recall bs.........................................what should I check while I'm putting the motor in

I see it ass a mitsu recall.

If this is an issue with the 2g talons too does anyone know where i could find some info about it so i can have it looked at?

talons will probably have to go to a Chrysler/Dodge dealer. When i was a Mitsu tech at a dealer, we were un able to do any recalls on my talon since it was not mitsubishi even though the parts are the same.

I checked a member to check my vin on carfax and my car had the dealership fix the recall yippy i was worried i was always going to have to worry about this happening when i was haul a$$ around a corner guess I dont have to now.
