Ok.. Here's the deal. Putting a set of 8.0:1 Pistons into my block (4G63 NT) to get it 'built up'

The only thing I am concerned about is loss of power without a turbo attached to the system.

So, basically, how much difference between stock compression, and the 8:1's will I experience?

Thanks.

Dave

It will hardly be noticable. My friend has 9.1:1 pistons in his car and i have 8.5:1 and you can't tell too much except for low rpms acceleration, but we both have turbo cars.Look at it this way your ready for turbo then. :thumb:

But it will be driveable?

I'd estimate i'd have all that's needed for a basic turbo setup within a month, maybe month and a half anyway...

However, I don't want to turn this into a NT to Turbo thread (or it'd be in that forum).

Just bascially, will it get me back and forth from work to home every day, without hurting anything, other than my pride, maybe.. ;-)
