low oil then knock?

well i guess i did it this time...my friend took my car out to race a mustang right...pulls next to the stang.they start pulling and my friend lets off im like whats goin on here? so my friend comes back and hes complaining of low oil(no knock).im saying to myself i cant believe this motor didnt make it over 2000 miles:cry: but i get oil put it in and start it(KNOCK) idles fine but knock only when reved? can anyone please help this stupid newbie:dsm:
 
It's funny how you're not mad at your friend. And I wonder if you friend said sorry. PS, your friend is a dumb ass.

How is he a dumbass? It's not his fault that the thread poster did not put oil in his car.

The "friend" driving the car didn't even get to get on it before the motor dropped.
 
complete motor part out..let me know what you guys need...pistons/rods still good.. block is still good..head is still good brand new rebuild on head all motor parts must go dropping jdm 6 bolt into my car..need cash for dsm link and some other stuff...no reasonable offers turned down...will trade parts for dsm link and .50 trim all parts have 2000 miles on them

well i think i made out like a bandit ...i bought a built block for (800) with 35k on it with .20 over wiesco pistons,eagle rods and some other stuff..650 injectors(150),16g(100) tubular o2 with atmospheric dump(100) and 263/264 cams(300)255lph walbro(50)...what kind of numbers would i be looking at? or if im missing anything that i forgot to get or should get i would love to hear from you guys:laser:
