I have a 95 gst, currently have the free mods done to it. I'm making right at 11 psi of boost witht the bcs restrictor removed, a little low I thought. I took the car to the track the other night to see how it ran, 10.57 @70 mph in the 1/8 mile spinning hard in first. I then tried another run, this time with the wastegate line removed to see if I could get some more boost. I figured the worst that could happen is I would hit fuel cut and if it starting going to high I would back off on the throttle to control the boost. Made no difference, still only made 11 psi. I figured it was my blowoff valve leaking but would it leak that bad? I have a set of rre upper and lower pipes and a type s to put on when I get time, just wanting to know if a blowoff valve can leak that bad. I figured I would have gotten at least 2-4 more pounds of boost out of it by doing that.

The 2g stock BOV is crap. Replace it. I was running right at 13 psi with the stock upper IC pipe and BOV. When I installed a straighter IC pipe with 1G BOV my boost shot to 20 psi. I quickly caught it though because I was watching the boost gauge during the test drive. Long story short the 2G stock BOV leaks like a sive at higher than stock boost.

Ok I was hoping to hear that. The only other thing I could think that would cause it was a leaking wastegate flapper. Thanks for the reply.
