Low beam question

hello, I am in the middle of clearing and repainting the inner part of my headlights and i notice on the low beam is the glare guard (not sure correct name for it). Has anyone removed them and drive without them at night. I dont want to become a hazard by blinding people, but it looks better to me without them in there.

If you enjoy removing and re-installing new headlights, and speaking with John Law, then remove them.

Also, dunno if you were planning on it or not, but I'd leave the yellow running light part in them. I took mine out & I'm regretting it. looked better with them in!

when I had mine out I got in no trouble from any law. No one complained and all my friends thought it looked better.
