At idle i always hear I very loud clicking noise, I popped the hood and I narrowed it down to the valve cover, i dont know whats under there thats making the noise. Can someone plese tell me what this could be before i go to Mitsubishi or whatever. I have stock internals, 106,000 miles. Its deffinatly not a belt. Any input would be great. Thanks guys

It is lifter tick. after all of thoses mile dirt and grim have built up and causes them to tick. My gs-t started to tick and i changed to royal purple oil and a k&n oil filter and it went away. hope that helps
