I just got a 1998 gsx auto. The car started when i went and got it. When i got it home and did a complete fluid change. The guy be for me had installed a HKS turbo timer, HKS valve controller, safc , boost gauge and afr gauge. All which i know he wired wrong. When i finished changing all the fluids, and just checking the motor bay the car just makes a beeping noise. Any ideas

That's a stock Mistubishi beeper. LOL. It starts beeping if the door is open and the key is in the ignition. So if it happens with the door closed, your door sensor is probably fried. If it stops when the door is closed with the key in the ignition, then the sensor was dirty and is now properly working.

Does the car start?

Right, what I'm trying to say is the beeping and the no start have nothing to do with eachother. That is just the key-in-ignition warning sound. Both my DSM's make that same noise and I have no problems starting them.

If the car won't start and and it's not making any clicking noises, it's probably an issue with the turbo timer since it interupts the ignition circuit.

Can i just disconnect the turbo timer and all of its wiring, and start from there?

You can, do the accessories and dash lights come on when you turn the key to the on position? The turbo timer goes between the accessory and ignition power out of the ignition switch to the rest of the car. IT is not connected to the starter side of the circuit though.

No since it disconnects the ignition circuit once it's turned off so that nobody can steal the car. So disconnecting it would be the same as the turbo timer being off (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Try to find an instruction manual for that type of turbo timer so that you can connect the ignition wires back together.

You just unplug the harness from the ignition switch harness or remove and re solder the wires depending on how it is installed.

I really think its the wiring from the turbo timer, so im going to try and take it off. There is a lot of hks stuff from the turbo timer around my motor and intake. i also have plugs that are not connected, so i have lots of work tomorrow

Im going to go through the fuse box under the hood, and under the dash
