Lots of smoke coming from under the Manifold(when using Seafoam)

So today I finally tried out seafoam, which ended up working really well. My question is that I know smoke will come out of the engine if there is any kind of crack or leak, and I had a hell of a lot of smoke coming from underneath the exhaust manifold, not any from the top. I just recently got my GSX so I'm still learning, so would this mean my exhaust manifold is cracked somewhere? Or something to do with the turbo? Thanks for the help in advance.

proly a leak on your manifold, or a leaky seal between the monifold and down pipe...old leaky gasket. go give it the look over.

Sounds like a bad gasket to me. Amazing what you can find when you add a little smoke

So this would be the gasket that connects the manifold to the turbo? And would that hurt performance at all?

Not really. If the crack is a good enough size, it will cause a ticking sound from the exhaust sneaking out the crack, and could have a slower spool time, but honestly you woudn't even notice it in the spool time.

just bad gasket.
if there is a crack in the manifold, you would see smoke coming out through the hole.
