hey guys i just put in my greddy type s bov and the dejon L pipe and i have the bov set in a little bit but one thing i notice when i ran the car my rpms are a lil strange.

when i get on the gas on second gear for axample the car revs up faster than usual between 3500 and 4200 rpms and after 5k it feels like im getting a slight fuel cut and cant really make power anymore.

can it be my clutch slipping?

:talon:

i boost tested the system with the new mods up to 16psi and no leaks just a lil bit on my tb elbow but now enough to make loose that kind of power

the 3500-4200 thing started after after the bov the 5k has been since i got my car back fron the shop.

the brakes master cylinder went out had it replaced...the car was there for like 3 weeks so idk if im just been paranoid or something is actually wrong but i know i shouldn't have such a power lose after 5k even if its awd.

or do you agree with me and think im being paranoid.

Your car should pull decent to 6000 I would think (I've never driven a stock 2G turbo), and not much after that if you're on the tiny stock turbo.

Are you recirculating the BOV like you should? You say you boost leak tested to 16psi, what psi do you run? I think a stock 1g BOV is better than a greddy. My cousin got a greddy with his car, and even with it set so tight that didn't open when he let off the throttle, it still pushed open on the boost leak test!

Do you have any kind of logger so you can see what's going on?

yes its recurcilated it... when i tested the system the bov held up no problem. im running stock boost at the moment dont wana raise boost till i get turbo back.

no i dont have any logger :(...

Tune up anyone? Check the ordinary normal stuff first. When was the last time you changed your plugs or plug wires? Get a open air element filter and hard intake pipe, and maybe your car won't fall on its face again.

yeah i work at an performace shop now so im gana get some nology wires and ngk plus as we speak and getting a sampco silicone vac hose kit...i already have an injen intake in it.

well try just going for a 3rd gear pull and see what it does from there
