On the left hand side of my valve cover, I notice that there is a loose port.

Was wondering if the port should be 100% solid (this port can be turned 360 degrees by hand but has never really leaked oil).

If it needs to be kept still, is it time for a new valve cover, or what "goop" will fix it? :)

Thanks

For the love of god, please hook that line up to your intake pipe where it belongs, or get a catch can setup!

As for that piece moving, that is fine. I wouldn't like it "real" lose, but you should be able to turn it with some force. . .

Lol, it is normally connected to a catch can. The valve cover is off in the pic and resting on the motor.

I just looking for some answers on this topic on how others did this swap because I just bought used VC that was on a early 90s Hyundai. That's a Hyundai VC, but my question is why did u break it!!! Mine doesn't look like that, it has that same angle 90 degree but different direction facing the rear not straight down.

Guys, will JB Weld hold this in place or will it melt? I was able to pull it RIGHT OUT of my valve cover! I have got to do something. I just painted the valve cover and it looks GREAT, but I need to resolve this.

Thoughts?

I've been somewhat of a valve cover whore in the past years, and have never seen one that moves at all, much less comes out. I would replace the valve cover but that's just me.

I will just JB Weld it. I already have plenty of money in my valve cover at this point between the soda blasting and painting/clearing etc. Thanks

It's fine, their only pressed in, But it should take some tugging on it to come out, should not come out "easily". JBweld it and you'll be fine.
