Looking to buy GSX auto

Hi,

I needed some info. I am currently saving to buy either a 1G or 2G gsx/tsi auto.

(Yeah I know I'm asking about an auto)

Anyways what year should I look for. I would like a 1G over a 2G but I'm looking for a car that I can work on and not have to worry about the tranny ever day. Plus my wife needs to be able to drive it at points. I have experience with dsms but have never owned an auto.

An early "92 with the 6/4 bolt combo! That's what I have, and don't feel bad for asking about auto's, they're awesome too and much more solid.

The 6/4 combo is a great suggestion. My talon is auto it has an LSD and for the last few months have been driving it daily. I haven't had any transmission issues (knock on wood) but just keep up with your service and you should be just fine. I personally prefer the 2g body style over 1g. That's just personal preference though. Good luck with your search.
