Trying to get some type of plan layed out on what all I need to purchase to make this happen. Been doing some research and I want to run a gt35r or an fp3065 and run big boost, and I want to do some type of stroker kit to decrease the spool time and have some more low end.

So through my research i've found out I a stroker kit basically consists of new bearings, eagle rods, stroker pistons, and a 4g64 crank. SBR looks like they have a pretty good basic kit available for like 1200 bucks with a reman crank.

So i'm thinking of just picking up a 6 bolt block and head and then just getting the stroker components installed, how much does it usually run to get everything like that installed actually into the block?

And also what should I do to the head while i'm building up the block?

Well you would want to get the block refreshed to match your new parts, usually people get a .020 over bore some do more of coarse, possible line hone and get the block tanked. when you take it to a machine shop they will inspect everything or should cylinder wants mains water jacks and the block for little asperites, check the block deck i could go on but they will check it over, when I built my engine i got it bored, tanked decked, but to your question

i got mine done for a deal of 90 due to my father beings friends with the machinist, but a normal quote was like 20-50 per cylinder (bore) 25 to resurface and i forgot what line honing was BUT all machine shops are differnt but, you'll get a new gasket set water pump timing belt and components, new seals normaly in gasket set.

For the head i would get it pressure tested, jet washed, and have the valves reground, new stem seals, cam seals, valve guides and resurfaced if needed.

uhhhg I missed the question, it might come close enough to but a pre assembled short or long block from sbr or jam. if you live near a speed shop ask them to give you a quote. I have no clue what people charge to assemble an enigne seeing as how I do all my work.
