looking for the Saskatchewan DSM'S

Well I pretty much have a short block. Still gotta do the seats and valve stem height on the head. I have to paint my block and install my balance shaft removal kits tomorrow. I need a water pump and timing belt. She's looking pretty good.

Okay well I need to get my Gates timing belt and new pulley's for sure... I'm going to look at my water pump and see why it was damaging my block. But it may just have been because it expanded under extreme temp. Now here's a question.... What kind of tuning will I need on my car with the 2g piston's on the big rods, my 16g? hopefully little to none, for now of coarse... As for the block I got it rotating, I just need to lap the main case and install the balance shaft removal kit. The head is ready to get the valve seats ground to the right angle, after that I need to adjust valve stem installed height and do some thread repair. Then the head will be done. Now, for the engine bay itself, I'm thinking about taking my sub frame right off to clean it and the steering gear... Pain in the ass I know, but it'll be better if it's done soon... So that's what I'll be doing this weekend...

As for the new guy, Welcome to the group! My names Roland, I see you have a N/t 94'. Atleast it's the good make of body. If you need help of any kind don't be afraid to ask. We have a couple techs including me, and some pretty good guys that know their stuff. My car won't be done until mid or the end of summer, but it'll be a blast to have you to cruise with us too.
 
first street legal night at SIR is May 2nd. anyone going? I think I will. I want to see what my car will do while its still stock.
 
I wish, sadly guys I just found out that I will be working in Bassano, Alberta for the summer...

I will be back every third weekend or so, we will have to meet then for sure! Also, if anyone ever feels like making the 5 hour drive to the Medicine Hat dragstrip (especially for the street car even there in June) I will meet you guys there!
 
Hi guys my names Brandon i have a 90 dodge colt with a 92 dsm awd powertrain in it. Lots of bolt ons, work in progress. I also have a 90, 91, 92, and 92 awd 5 speeds. I daily drive a stock nothing special one, and abuse the colt. If also have about 4 awd transmissions worth of parts, so if you ever need anything don't be afraid to pm me i might have something. Maybe I'll see some of you guys around this year.

Hey Brandon I'm Brendan.... and it funny that you say you might see us around LOL ill be up in saskatoon next weekend for a day to just cruise around and check things out... never really been up to saskatoon before so ima have some fun and check out the festivites up there... welcome to our corner of the interwbs

Most likely a wrecker. Try bucks or somethin. I got my non abs prop valve from a wrecker, as for the lines, i jus measured the old ones for how long they were and got some straight lines from auto parts plus and bent them myself.
 
No, Roly any Non-Abs prop valve would work, Just as long as its not a car with rear drums (not sure if that was even an option for 1g's...)

Haha thanks man! I have been busy as all hell with school lately, just finishing up alot of design projects and starting into finals now... At least the semester is almost over.

So are we at least going to get in one good cruise before I head out?
 
I have mine out now. Im down for a cruise or meet whenever.

I've got a viper alarm, dsmlink, 850cc injectors, innovate wideband, megan racing 02 housing, and a fp race manifold, waiting to go in. :)

I've decided to buy a fp68hta turbo, but I wont get it for a while probably
