I just got the aeromotive afpr, guage, and s/s return line install kit from slowboy. I have a few ideas on where I am going to install it but I would like to see what you did.

Thanks,
Ben

^^^ That tube fitting really isn't designed to support the weight of the FPR hanging off it. It's weight really should be supported by some sort of bracket. The constant vibration and sudden small movements of a running engine will quickly fatigue that fitting and it will begin to leak at the nut and will eventually fail at the tube.

Just giving you a heads up, man. I would seriously modify that set-up ASAP.

thanx for the advise man... I didnt think it would be that bad.... the back of it is resting on that black plactic thing.... Ill see if I can figure something out... thanx

Old thread. But Wondering if anyone has made some sort of a bracket that fits around or on the break fluid reservoir? Or maybe on it.

My 93 mirage, for those looking for this kind of swap.

Here's how I did mine. Had some trouble routing the line (it was too long) and wound up routing it around the clutch reservoir. Fit perfectly actually.

Mine is connected to the brake reservoir. I just unscrewed the screw holding it in and tapped a hole into the plate of the AFPR and screwed it back in. Nice and tight.

Tucked in nicely behind the intake manifold.

^ Did you make that bracket, or did it comes with the kit? Either way, it looks good! I'd shorten the braided line a few inches, just to make it look a little cleaner.

thanks I love how it came out, I made the bracket and I just did't want to mess with the fittings and the braided line they come assemble plus I did't wanted to look like a straight hose I kind of like the way it follows around like the rest of the hoses in there

Well, if you like it that's all that counts. Like I said I can't see how it'll hurt anything.

But that bracket looks pro, very nicely done.

I thought I'd post mine up since pictures of dsms are awesome!

I love how you mounted yours. Did you have to remove something to put it there. I'm going to try and mount mine there this weekend.
