Not quite11's but i think i hit 12.7 with less than $3,000 in mods on a stock engine and tranny w/ 145,000 miles. Decent turbo, boost, race gas, weight mods and some supporting mods and 11's in a 1g wouldn't be unrealistic.
 
I have seen cams listed about ten times now, but along with thoughs cams you mid as well get new better valve springs, retainers, SS polished coated valves, and then port the head..

Have a but load of power up to 8,500-9,000rpm then which would mean the shifts would be further apart, higher trap speeds and well just much faster car from that alone.
 
I see may kits here that offer the t3/t4 turbo setups. They are around 1500 for the kit. What else is needed to bolt that up?I have even seen some t3/t4 turbos for like 750 that bolt up to the evo III manifold.

Is that a better idea then going with the kits or no. How sreetable are the 50 trim t3/t4 turbos that everyone has? My original idea was to go with a 20g....does that bolt up to a evo III manifold. This whole manifold/ turbo thing is really confusing...
 
If you got to say a site like agps they have pics...their kit comes with its own custom exhuast manifold you don't need evo anything and its own o2 housing you just use theirs and external gate .You can add a little muffler to it or reroute back to your exhaust if you don't like the sound of the external.

Or you can be cheap like me.I should have got the external setup but didn't quite have the scratch together so instead got the bolt on turbo in my sign.I also bought separately an evo exhaust manifold and evo 02 housing and got an internal gate for now.I also got some new oil lines with my kit optional since agp recommends taking the oil off the oil filter housing for my turbo.Got a new oil return line also.So now its pretty much plug and play.You do have to grind down the evo manifold a bit and you might have some troubles with an evo 02 depending on downpipes I heard my n1 will work ok with the evo o2.

Is that any clearer now..??
 
go by the dsmtuners stage1 an stage2 list.. im almost done w/ the stage1 list all i need is my intake pipe (got the k&n filter tho), 2g o2 housing an then my exhaust an its done.. rite there it says "usually will run close to 300hp an low 13s high 12s w/ good driver" then do stage2 an it says low 12s or high 11s w/ good driver also depending on what turbo selection... in my opinion FIRST thing to get is a boost controller run it at 15psi, hack ur maf,get a k&n, I/C pipes,boost gauge an exhaust.. i dunno just go on those lists its what im doing an just filling in the blanks almost done :) stage1 anyways hehe ill be into the 12s before the track closes..i hope anyways i dont kno when they close.. ill have stage1 an 2 done near november..then over winter its in for a rebuild an lots of porting :) hope i helped a lil just go by those lists an ur all set.. Its not about the parts its how you drive an launch the car
