Im going to replace my front cover. Im sure that i can reuse everything from my last BSEK except the cap that got JB welded in there. The closest mitsu dealer is 45min away as well as any other stores that would have it. i have heard that there is another cap that you can use but for the life of me i cant seem to find it. Anybody tell me what it is? Im hopin that i can get it from a parts house here locally.

You can use a freeze plug. Go to an auto parts store and tell them the diameter you need. They are intended to perform a weekest link fuse function. In case the coolant freezes and expands they are designed to pop out, so make sure you use JB Weld or a similar product to hold the plug in.

If you do go to the dealer, the part number is MD092785.
