I am in the middle of a build and I bought oem pistons for my 7 bolt for 220 and saw these evo 8 rods and pistons for 160 so I sent my pistons back and bought these. They came with new rings and bearings besides the carbon they are super clean. I don't know how strong they are but I have heard they are stronger the oem which is good.

For 160 its not a bad price

You going to keep the rods or go with 1g big rods?

I might just keep the rods I probably won't make any crazy hp.

Just for the record, the Evo VIII pistons are cast just like our stock pistons.
Evo IX pistons are the Forged units that are stronger, lighter and also have the skirt coating which I see in your pics.

You have Evo IX pistons.
