So I recently installed a glowshift boost/vac gauge into my 95 GST. And before the install my car would crank for probably half a second before starting (so very quick). And now after the install my car cranks for prob 5 seconds before starting. So my question is, would installing the gauge cause this or is it because the car reset its self after disconnecting the battery?

Also gauge works and functions fine. Boosting 9 psi. And reading 13 hg at 900 rpm idle.

how and where did you connect it?

I researched where to tap into the vac line on the forums here, so i know this is correct. I followed all instructions on wiring as provided by glowshift. Power wire to positve cable(constant), two power wires to cigar illumination fuse by pedals(none constant), and grounded to a good none painted bolt. Gauge works and looks great. I've done a boost leak test before installing gauge and found nothing.

sounds like a boost leak like stated above. just go back and double and triple check for leaks.
