log on my e316g e85 setup, any suggestions?

Im curious as to why you have that little bit of knock!
where you switching gears there?
And your e316g really drops down to 10psi at 6.5k?
I've logged my 14b hold stronger than that.
I feel you timing is a bit weird in the low-mid rpm map.
(but you e85 and im not to fond with tuning with it)

Other than those small things, I see 13.4ish, which i think is a tiny bit high, even for e85!
I think it should be more like 12.8. But again I don't know too much.

I think with your setup you fully capable of handling 28psi. Just watch what you do, and keep an eye on it all.
Also i think you should turn it up a few psi's at a time. Jumping from 15psi to 28psi might be a little fuzzy.
Hope others chim in on this.

Goodluck.

my mafcomp isnt calibrated right, im runnin 23 psi right now but yea i can physically watch it drop down as the rpms go higher. yea i was changin gears and that showed up, guessing thats why the knock was there

I would start with lowering the timing if you want to turn up the boost. I've been running similar setup, with e316g on e85 at 29psi for a couple years. Keep your A/F around 11.5 and timing no higher than 16-18 on the very top for safety reason. E85 doesn't knock, but when it does - shit goes bad quickly. Also, EGT's were proven to get pretty high if you go beyond that.

got to getthe MAF calibrated but it's good to see a nice timing table being built in DSMlink for a change :D

Running no timing under WOT and little to no boost just makes for a lazy feeling car, having it setup the way you do makes for a nice smooth and wide powerband, good going on that one :thumb:

as for the knock, i think it may be shift related or some other random noise. ON my J&S i have it set sorta sensitive and i can get light knock that may be piston slap around the same area, but i doubt it's slap, probably just some light det..

I wouldn't say e85 only knocks in the worst cases as i've seen other wise, but over all it's a great fuel to tune on. But the values you have in someof the lower load cells like the 28* on row "1.0" at 6500 RPM + but from what i gather that's about zero boost anyway, but i've always had best results running that area about 24* (26* MAX) and it cleans up what i think is just some piston noise

overall things look OK to me aside from the lean AFRestimate (but is that even correct?) if so i'd get it down into the 12.4- 12.6 and if that doesn't clean up the noise in the run with the backed off timing in row "1.0" then maybe drop the AFR's to 12.0-12.2

But again i think overall it's a better base tune than i see on a lot of cars in the timing area especially for E85, I would just take 2* out of the timing map everywhere from row "1.0" to "1.6" (the areas above that look great)

Its on 25 psi right now, air fuel right at 11.3 at WOT, no knock. Heres a 2nd gear pull I did this afternoon was going around a little bit of a curve and it started to break traction LOL. Im starting to love E85, car runs so much smoother, starts so much easier and pulls so much harder, Do yall think this is as high as I should go on my internals or would maybe 3 more psi be okay?
