Okay, the reason I'm posting this log is because it looks pretty decent to me, and yet, my car bogs/slows down at around 5000 rpm's. It's evident enough that my brother, who was sitting shotgun, noticed it as well. So, I'm not just imagining things. It is definately not a smooth power band/increase. I'm not sure what's going on here, so, I figured I'd throw this up here and see if someone more knowledgable than I am could help me out.

wow, thats some bad ass timing!! next time (easyer on the eyes) just log rpm, knock, a/f, timing. your tps looks perfect.

currious, why's your log starts at 4300 rpms and not somthing lower?

it really looks like your running lean through out your upper rpms, your timing looks a little jumpy after 5800. i think if you add more fuel from 5500 and on you should beable to regain your timing bring up your a/f and stop feeling the hesitation.

Well that is another interesting aspect. I have to add SO much fuel up top. For instance, at 2000-5000 rpm's, I'm around -20% to -22%, at 6000 & 7000 I'm at -17/-15% respectively. And it's around 5000 the bogging starts, funny enough, timing increases (as you can see) while on my S-AFC I have to add fuel up top, which from what I know kind of is opposite of what it should be? The bogging stops at like 5800-6000 and you can feel the car start to pull again.

Also, while I don't know if my timing is "badass", I do believe 29 degrees at 6000 rpm's is a little high, and it drops dramatically to 20 degrees by 7000, is that even normal?

So, I performed another pull, this time at 15 psi, and only slightly more learned out in the LOWER rpm ranges. Everything above 4500 is at the same correction values as before. As you can see, lots of knock, and that's on a decently cool night, and only 15 psi, rock steady, no creep. Because I had Brad Brooks port my 2g o2 housing for me.

Did you eliminate the bog? If you left the settings alone for the 15psi pull, then you should do it again with richer settings. You mentioned the minus settings up high, and looking at your log, it seems you were running lean. Try richening up the upper RPMs and get back to us.

Bill you pansy, what correction values are you using. 15psi is for little girls, step it up to 18 or I'll smack you around.

he's already running too rich, and that is the problem. due to the excessive timing he has to drown the motor to keep the knock down, and the drowning of the motor causes the bog
