i have a 2G Big16G with 550's,FPR, stock SMIC just baught a Supra SMIC, External wastegate, JoeP boost controler, 16lbs of boost full 3inch exaust, no cat, intake. i took plenty of logs and they seem to never be consistant. One log my o2s are .89 then i make another pull and my o2s are .93,
My TPS never gets to 100, it will only go to 96, i dont know if my cable is loose yet havnt checked it yet.

here is my log

rpm o2v timing TPS
4664 .93 14 96
5160 .95 12 96
5620 .95 14 96
6124 .95 16 96
6484 .95 19 96
6920 1.00 31 96

4th Gear
5748 .91 10 96
6228 .92 17 96
6820 .75 31 96

my o2s are jumping all over and im all out of ideas. and my throttle position is not getting to 100 if my timing is up.. should i lean out or richen up, i dont want to go by my o2s it seems to be not reliable. i need some sort of direction. thanks

Pull your logger under the hood with you and "with your hand" manually open the throttle plate fully. Look at what your tps reads here. If it reads 100%, then you need to tighten a cable or maybe you have a floor mat or something blocking your gas pedal from reaching the floor.
If it reads 96, then you need to adjust your tps. :thumb:

Don't log tps. 2g's have low sample rates and there is no reason to keep logging it once you make sure your throttle plate is opening completely. It will just take up room and samplling time.

need some help
what should the trims be also i heard they were supposed to equal zero like
sht trim=1
Lng trim=-1

also what do these values indicate?
well i know what the o2v and Timing consist of but where should my aiming point be. i wish the 2gs has a knock sensor!!
thanks
Get ER DonE

what exactly is KNOCK.. I dont have a 1g so how do i tune or tell if there is knock..

I would try richening everything by about 5%. Then relog with only rpm, timing, and o2. This will give more samples so that you can see the changes in timing more precisely. Hopefully you have leak tested it as well.
It looks like you are running lean and knocking. Your timing will drop when you reach full boost and then it should slowly climb(without dipping<---knock) to somewhere around 20-23 degrees of advance by redline.
If you notice the first time timing drops, that is full boost coming on. The second dip is knock(more than likely). I would get everything richer and then lean out a little at a time until you get the hints of knock and richen it back up at that point a little.
Hope that makes since.

ps. For me, i like to get o2's to about .96 from full boost up, and then start to lean out. O2's are more ball park, so i think you can use them to get in the park but timing is used for real tuning.

If you have took plenty of logs just hang in there and keep squeezin...What are o2's are they like a nickname for peanuts? I cant help you take a dump if you dont tell me what the problem is!!
