Are there any local dsm shops near Chico? I am willing to drive a little as well. Any near Sacramento, Redding, Roseville, Red Bluff, Marysville, Oroville, Yuba City, etc? I really need to take my car to someone who knows what they are doing.

Sean knows everything there is to know about DSM's, definitely knows what he's doing. Full Function is the name of the shop www.fftec.com is not close to chico but is worth the drive, trust me. Give them a call and see for yourself. Don't settle for a okay shop just cus is close to home, a crappy job leads to problems and redos. Do right, do it once.

Well I might have to have the car towed to be safe and I have a free tow but dont know how far I can go before it costs me. I'm guessing I can go like 100 miles. I think Union City is like 3 hours away :(. Thanks for the shop though. Any more guys?

+1 for luis' suggestion. I understand that it may cost less now to take it someplace nearby, rather than to get it to union city. BUT, think about the long term consequences. Take it to a knowledgeable shop now, and save yourself the headache later.

I wish I could get it that far but I don't think I can afford it. :(
I wish I could just figure out what the problem is.

honestly, get the car to sean. it'll be worth it. he does good work..good enough for me to invest a good amount of money there.

YOu can talk to Paul at NewLogics too. he only works on DSM's on the weekends and evenings now, but he's a little closer (not much) in Richmond Ca off of Richmond Parkway. PM me if you want his contact info.

Well I just got back today. I have a couple more people I am going to try local and am then going to check out these guys you guys have mentioned. Are any of these guys on tuners? Also what are the rates to work on our cars by the guys mentioned? If I could just find out the problem I wouldnt mind fixing it myself. :thumb:
