Lip or no lip DIY

Ok I'm interested in doing my own lip not to bold. Just a little accent on our front eclipse nose...suggestions please!!!

it does not send me anywhere just to home depot...but i didn't quite get the whole home depot garage door rubber...I think it would fly off in the highway..Thanks though!

It won't fall off but if you want you could use bolts as well just for reassurance

120mph on the interstate and mine held on with just 3m double sided tape. It did come off once when I hardcore scraped my bumper on concrete once.

Yeah that's why I figured in high speed it would just fly off..that would be ratchet!

Which Ebay lip? how did they come in?? I've always been afraid to buy parts off ebay especially body parts. Shipping damage would make me frustrated!!

And as for it not holding up...I plowed snow with mine on, it will hold if you do it right. Just 3M double sided tape for all of mine

Love my home depot lip, protects from hard dips, ^6 dollars and swap it, done deal. Stupid puddles tore off my lip on my civic and the only place I can find it is for 240 dollars -_-

I would just make holes in the lip and bumper that match up and use nuts and bolts. If done right the tape should work fine

what holes? i have some but they are hooking up a metal piece and are too far back

Yes I see that'll be kind of scary considering the bumper is still on the car..I'm going to home depot this weekend!!

Use a staple gun underneath the lip, on the portion that sticks on the bumper. Then there won't be big holes in your bumper. I did it to mime and it held up great on the highway.

Honestly, 3 little bolt holes and 3m would be a ton better than a staple gun and 100 little holes along the bottom.
