Alright just bought a 97 talon tsi awd and its been converted to an eclipse, front, rear bumpers tailights and spolier so the rear tails are just a mess of wiring.
First i need to know on an eclipse which taillights are for what there are 3 lights per side: outter, middle and inner i need to know which one's are brake/park lights and which ones are the signal lights so i can get that strightned out.
Another issue is the signal lights work fine blink normally but when i turn the headlight switch on they start blinking real fast, just like a vehicle would do if one of the signal lights was burnt out on one side that signal would blink fast, but its both sides so im thinking possibly bad ground somewhere, i changed all the bulbs in the back just not the front ones yet its almost like a bad ground or one of the bulb filiments is shorted and backfeeding through the circuit. has anyone run into this problem before?
Thanks!
Moving this thread to problem diagnosis...
I had this in the lighting section with no response so i moved it here. Can anyone go look at thier taillights and tell me how it is?
