I have an ACT 2600...the throw out bearing shelled on me within 100 miles...

So here is my thoughts...do I want to try another one and hope not to have the same problems?

So I look around and see alot of people like the Mitsubishi ones, yet I call Road Race and they said there garbage and they have one with a graphite plastic one...

So honestly what are you guys running, what is suggested, where can you buy it?

Thanks

Drew

Im running my act2600 one, paul said the new ones are nylon or something. You might have just got the old version.

I've had a new oem t/o bearing come apart on me within a couple of months with the 2600. It was a weird one though, when new you could pop the race left and right in the housing, and it had no real centered position. Not sure if all OEM bearings are like that. After it died I replaced it with a generic metal sleeved one cause I was in a hurry, 3000 miles from home, and that one held fine for years. Go figure...

I'm looking at the bearing that came with my new 2600 and it seems solid enough. It's also plastic sleeved. Made by NSK. I'll run it.
