i have a lean code. whats the easiest way to even it out. i thought about getting a maf-t and 3.50 inch gm maf. its cheaper. now will the do the trick? as far as i know this will allow more air and automatically adjust fuel to compensate for the added air. would like some impute.
thanks

If that's all the mods you have, you have a problem that you need to fix. You've changed nothing that would cause a lean condition. Injectors may be a bit clogged, front O2 sensor may be flaking out, fuel filter might be clogged, fuel pump might be fading or not getting enough juice, etc. Trying to richen the mix with add-ons is a band-aid that's not fixing the true problem.

Which code was it? I know there's one that triggers if your fuel trims go out of range, but I forget the exact code. If you have a logger, you can check your LTFT to see if it's waaaay off (probably is like 114% or something). I can't think of any other way the ECU can know of a lean condition except through the O2 voltage/LTFT.

At idle, the O2v signal should jump around 0.5v, and your LTFT should be within 4% of 100 (between 96% and 104%).

Have you read your plugs? If they look rich or normal, it might just be the O2 sensor. I think there's a test procedure for the front O2, but I don't know it off-hand. If it's bad, check oxygensensors.com. I got my 2g O2 sensor for $50 there.

i have a walbro 255 but i need another regulator. the one i have isnt a rising. after i install that id upgrade the filter. i tried hooking up the car to a logger but it didnt work for some reason.

Hmm. You shouldn't do that. If you have a stock FPR, that'd be better than what you have; it's just the wrong part for a turbo car, period. The 255 will overrun the stock FPR at low load and low rpm, but that's better than what you've got. Do you know the fuel pressure? If the FPR you have isn't high enough, you'll run lean all the time, and it'll get much worse under load and at higher rpm, especially under boost. If you have the funds, get an AFPR. The general recommendation is that when you upgrade your pump, you upgrade the FPR at the same time. I personally wouldn't drive the car until I fixed this.
