2G Lean and surging when warm

I have a 1997 eclipse gst , when warm at an idle it surges and runs extremely lean on an idle according to my wideband. Driving and WOT it’s fine. One thing I noticed is that which my headlights are on it does it a lot worse. To me it’s sounding like maybe a grounding issue somewhere but I’m kinda lost and looking for some hints or guidance, thank you!

Have you done a boost leak test and maybe check to see what your voltage is at the battery when it's running. Have you done the proper procedure setting your tps?

Thanks for responding. I haven’t done boost leak test but I did check my voltage at the battery and it’s not fluctuating or changing. I haven’t looked at tps but if I hold it at a certain position it’ll idle up and idle down a lot so maybe that might have to be my next step

What was your voltage at? I'd definitely start with tps and there is a right up on here for the 2g, it's pretty simple to do.

Let me rephrase that I'd make sure you have zero boost leaks and then do the tps adjust. If your car is stock and you don't have your bov recirculated make sure to do that also. That will cause idle issues.

Check for boost/vacuum leaks if you're running a stock MAF (still a good idea even if not). Otherwise possible culprits include:
BISS missing/leaking or improperly adjusted
Malfunctioning ISC
Wiring or ECU idle circuit issue
FAIV stuck open
TPS adjustment
Vacuum lines looped or hooked up wrong

Do you still have A/C in the car and if so, does it idle up if you turn it on? That's a good test for the ISC and idle circuit.
