LEAN AND RICH fuel?

What are the difference between rich and lean? How can the problem found? Also, how do i fix it?

Rich is when you are running more fuel than stoichiometric air/fuel mixture requires. Lean is when you are running less fuel than stoichiometric.

Stoichiometric (or lambda 1.0) is the theorecical perfect mixture of 1.0:1.0 air/fuel molecules required for combustion. For example; running lean would be lambda 1.2 air/fuel.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, to find out you will need an A/F meter or datalogger connected to your ecu. To fix it you will need an AFC.

in otherwords.. rich = safe, poor gas milage , less power, black smoke
lean = danger, hi EGTs , more power, can blow motor.

Using an A/F autometer is no way to see if you are either.

If you are thinking you are one way or another you should get a nice dyno run in or some way to get a Wideband 02 to see if you are either way. A pocketlogger or the use of DSMlink would help you out.
