My girlfriends car broke down and i let her take our shop car for the night, Needless to say i now have some major problems. Went to pull the car out of the shop last night and there is 3+quars of oil on the ground. Not coming from any of the turbo lines or the oil pan, I looked up from the bottom and oil is 360* around the engine bay. So im thinking Head gasket, I drained the freshly changed synthetic oil and it looks a little green but not milky at all. When we installed the turbo i had a coolant leak. Took the car for a short drive and all of a sudden the coolant leak was gone. Havent thought about it sense, Last night i noticed the coolant line to the turbo was compleatly broken and wasnt leaking coolant. there is no coolant being cycled through my turbo and i have no idea why. The car is smoking and the engine sounds 100% normal (running smooth). We are going to be doing the correct tests soon (busy making carbon fiber parts) i thought maybe you guys have seen this before?

Also, The coolant over flow tank is full

Thanks

Sounds good,

If the headgasket was blow the car wouldnt start or at least wouldnt sound "normal" because of the lost compression..

However it never hurts to do a comrpession check ;)

Make sure to take pictures of the
*exhaust manifold (without heat shield)
*Timing side
*underside of block

Hopefully its something small but worse case its your valvestem seals or something...

would valve stem seals cause the car to throw up oil all over the palce?

The underside of the turbo is clean.. from the front block to the oil filter housing, to the starter on the back side of the engine is covered. also, When we installed the turbo i had a coolant leak. Took the car for a short drive and all of a sudden the coolant leak was gone. Havent thought about it sense, Last night i noticed the coolant line to the turbo was compleatly broken and wasnt leaking coolant. there is no coolant being cycled through my turbo and i have no idea why.

wasnt able to take pics, Any idea dsmtuners ??? Is it possible for 3 quarts to leak from the headgasket in less then 10 min of driving?
