laser 1.8 trans swap installed , no gears work

would like to know once I change the pump gears if i can reuse the pump and the tourk conveter and if I could have done any more damage to the trans by not installing right. I also would like to know what is the fast and easy way to fix this take the hole motor and tranny or just drop the tranny .
