Large injectors low boost?

I Just got a set of fic 880's for a steal of a friend. Just bought ecm link online just now and i had it set for 3in gm maf direct to harness and 880cc settings. I have some engine work done but im scared because i only have new 1g rods and the machine shop said the treated them before they put them in. i have a big 16 g is this ok sounding?

what are you scared of? just dont run crazy amounts of boost, set your afrs right and follow what link tells you and you should be fine. also, if you are on the stock head bolts and headgasket, upgrade the bolts before you run over 20 psi. or you will lift and get a blown head gasket.

also for the 880's i would get a 225 fuel pump and a afpr.

Sounds fine to me, as long as you adjust the deadtime and injector size with ecmlink, you'll be fine. Just changeing injectors is no issue, just make sure you learn how to tune it.

You can't make enough power with a big 16g to worry about breaking a stock motor tuned well, providing it has head studs,a mls head gasket, and a good tune.

You should be fine, as long as you have dsmlink set and tuned for your 880cc injectors.

Ya and I have to correct my self they are acutaly 850's not sure what i was thinking. but ya so good then i have a gm maf already and its coming with the cord for a 3 inch maf. but i havent upgraded air cooling yet i wonder if thats ok? I have an afpr and a 255 and a aem wideband. but ya i think stock head bolts i wish that wasnt the case but i dont need much hp right yet. but thanks for all the replies!! oh have manley pistons and ss sleeves. forgot to mention. if that helps. but your all saying ok to so cool
