Kelowna,
So I bought a set of KYB AGX's on here from a member that said they were used for less then 10k miles and they look like the have been used for about that time. I have two questions though.

Is it normal to be able to push in the shiny metal part into the spring/shock quite easily? Also when they are pushed in they dont shoot back out they release fairly slowly.

The second question is, how do you know where you are on your adjustable settings for the rear struts. It seems like you can turn that dial around as many times as you want either clock wise or counter clock wise. It doesnt seem to have a stop in it. Is this normal?

There should be numbers on them. The higher the number the harder the strut gets.

Well when I push on them they go down, but I dont have to put any weight into it really. As for the numbers, yes I know they have numbers but you can keep spinning it as much as you want. Like I can spin the dial around only clock wise go to like 8 then keep going clock wise and go to 1, does it have some sort of internal mechanism that knows the difference? OR is there suppose to be a stop going clock wise then you reach the max stiff ness and a lock going counter clock wise when you reach the softest setting? I hope I explained this properly.

Its going to keep spinning, you have to stop it on one of the numbers...
