So I purchased a set of kyb agxs off of the classifieds here and received them and noticed that the adjuster screws ontop were all jacked up. So I would like to share my fix and the info needed so others can fix theirs if needed! :thumb:

I popped the grease cap off to find this...looks familiar huh?

So I read on here that someone emailed kyb and got sent out parts. Well heres what ya gotta do. Email [email protected] and tell them that your adjustment screw is messed up due to taking the nut off the top of the strut. Request a set of part number Z005 and they will send out a small envelope, in my case for free since they cost like 5 cents to make and a dollar to ship.

So I took a pocket knife and needle nose pliars and started digging at the plastic wreck that used to be the adjuster screw.

Once you get all the crap out you put the new screw in (it only goes on one way it has a D shape to the bottom and the pin inside the strut matches. And then place the color cap ontop which also has an indentation which it slides into. Then you end up with something like this...

I know this worked for my 1g agxs I'm not sure if the top of 2g agxs are the same or not....

There ya go! All fixed! Happy cruising! :thumb:

Very good info here SlickPyro:thumb: Mine are ok since I bought mine new and have been extra careful when making adjustments, but I'm sure this can help some others. Thanks again:)
