well i need to buy a boost gauge because im tired of watching the little stock arm go up and down all the time not telling me jack shit.

i really would like to get the greddy gauge.. but its measured in bar....
how do i translate Bar to Psi. like 1.5 bar would be.... ?

i am sure this is a stupid question thast probably somewhere in the vfaq, but its down so :p

According to my physics book, I have the following:

1 bar = 14.50377377276 psi
1 Atmosphere = 14.695948775487 psi
1 kg/cm2 = 14.223343307769 psi
1 kPa = 7.5006168251199 psi

:p

Hehe I had this same problem when choosing a boost gauge. I just got lazy and bought an Autometer so I wouldn't have to be doing math.

id just go with the autometer... they make like every type of gauge and they arent that expensive.

Just know that if 1 bar is normal atmospheric pressure, without a turbo, your car should have 1 bar of pressure anyway. so 1.5 is a 50% increase in overall pressure. But I do agree that it would be easier to have it in PSi, since that's what we work with.

Gotta remember that we are reading gauge pressure, not absolute. 1 bar on a gauge, is 1 bar over atmosphere.
