What exactly is knocking? whats a good # for knocking and bad # for knocking at what rpms?

knocking is basically detonation. There really isnt any good number for knocking, having zero knock is the goal.

Exactly, Having very low numbers of knock is normal and nothing to worry about. I believe the maximum number that can be registered is 42 or 43. Not 100% positive though.

You may want to also search the forums for phantom knock, a common problem with many dsms.
