So how can I convert knock voltage to knock counts? When I am giving it any gas, knock voltage reads 0.13V and continues go to up with acceleration. During this time, O2 voltage is cycling normally. I am relatively new to the tuning world, so I need some help. I have a 50trim, 255 pump, 780cc injectors, afpr set at 43psi, and 6bolt.
Here is what I understand about tuning and knock. While not at WOT, front O2 voltage should cycle from low to high (0-1V, lean to rich). While at WOT, O2 voltage should be around .94V. Knock is typically from running too lean or too rich, and when a significant amount of knock is detected, the ECU pulls timing.
So I dont understand how I can be knocking if I am within the fuel trims of the ECU to keep it cycling. I am using ECU+ that allows injector scaling, other then that, my timing and fuel maps are blank. I understand how to tune fuel maps at WOT, but lost when it comes to timing short of trial and error. Any help is appreciated.

Why don't you ask the ECU+ forum for conversion from voltage to knock counts. As far as I know the ecu retards 1 degree for every so many counts of knock (like every 4 counts, although I am not sure on this one). 1G's give straight knock counts (1 - 43) and DSMLINK gives it in degree retard. Are you saying you're knocking at partial throttle, or just WOT? If you're getting knock under partial throttle then it might be mechanical noise being picked up by the knock sensor (i.e. phantom knock). One way to check is to run race gas and see if it disappears. Goodluck.

Yeah I am gettin knock at partial throttle. Conversion from the stock knock sensor to knock counts isnt a "specific to ECU+" thing. But if no one knows here, I suppose I will go there.
Where can you buy race gas? And if it did go away, what does that tell me?

So how do people get knock counts? Should I be worried about the knock voltage I am getting? With a 50 trim, I dont want to be pushing 20psi and blow up my engine because the knock I am getting "might be" phantom.

Partial throttle knock is not as bad as WOT knock since there's no load on the engine. If you want you can do a WOT log and see that your timing is not getting pulled back. It should be increasing as the rpms go up and stock timing should max out at 16 degrees. If you see a dip (timing pulled) anywhere then you're knocking in that rpm range where the timing dipped.

If at any point timing is less then what it was at a lower RPM, its bad and probably because of knock? When you say max out at 16*, is that at WOT I'm assuming? I've seen timing as high as 33 cruising at highway speeds.
Also, the knock voltage goes to 0V at idle or decceleration.
