I'm going to try and get another knock sensor tomorrow as well. I'm going to go over all my mounts to see of any of them are loose or making noise, and try to see if anything else is making noise. Going to regap the plugs to .26

New log. Changed the table to 11.2 and still getting the knock. Ordered a new knock sensor today it will be here tomorrow.

Is the knock sensor in the correct location? Mine was up at the top of the block to close to the head at one time and thats the wrong location. I was able to get more aggresive with timing and a/f after correcting it

I think I have it in the top hole, will it really make that much of a difference? And are those holes different on 6 bolts?

yes it makes a big differance, trust me. Up in that thread you pick up all that valve train noise like I did. Never installed a knock sensor on a 7 bolt so I dont know but check your car, I remember my car use to knock when I free reved it in neutral before I moved it

Glad ya found the problem and it wasn't too seriouse for being cam timing related, one tooth can defintely make a difference in performance and is often the last thing people check. Also being that in some cases if you don't know to set the exh. cam ahead and clamp the belt to the sprockets, then rock it back the crank will never line up right. (mine has to be done this way to get everything at true TDC acording to a dial indicator)
