Just got my first auto dsm and it has a broken flexplate. I pulled the trans and ordered a kiggly flexplate. It is installed according to the kiggly website.(no spacer on the crank side and one on the outside facing trans) Also the lifted center of the flexplate is facing the trans.
The problem is the trans would not bolt up no matter what i tried it was 1/2 inch off from bolting up. I then pulled the trans back out and bolted up the converter to the flexplate and it bolts up just fine.
Also.... With the trans out, the position of the converter when bolted up to the flexplate dose not line up with the starter at ALL.
So even if i got the trans to bolt up it seems like the starter gear will not line up with the converter..
