Key Fob Help

So, my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS when i bought it came without any key fobs so when I'm done with all the engine work and getting a fresh battery in her again and running I plain on purchasing a new key fob. My question here is where is the suppose black box located so I can program a new key fob.

thanks man i just looked on a key fobs website and they told me i had to locate a black box and jump it with a paper clip in order to get into programming mode

95 and 96 cars have a different receiver.
It has a switch on it you have to move to the set1 or set2 position and hit the button on the fob to register it.. But on those i don't think you have to jump anything.

yeah only the older ones do you have to remove the back panel and flip a switch on the box. 97+ you do like he said jumping with a paper clip so its much easier
