So I just got finished putting a new oil pump in and doing the balance shaft elimination. I used the correct tools on the timing belt and everything is good there. The issue I am having is that I cannot get the thing to idle. As soon as I start the car it will idle around 500 rpm for a few seconds and die if I am not holding the gas. I have the same settings I had in dsm link that I had before I tore it apart and it ran fine before. The only things I need to question is my firing order right now I believe i have it set up 3241 this is a 95 eprom with dsm link and a 1g coil. I need to go back and check for any air leaks but I did not unhook anything related but tilting the engine might have knocked something loose so I am going to do a boost leak test tonight. Also I need to replace my battery terminal because it was not tightening around the post tight. And last but not least my alternator belt was squeling. The car easily turns over but doesn't idle for crap. Anything else I should look into.

Thanks,

Steve

Sorry about that it is a 6 bolt, and yes bov is recirculated. Ill take a look at the link you posted. For the firing order since I'm using a non 95/96 cas don't I need to swap the plug wires, that is why I did 3241. Also in the diagram on the link you sent it shows 2 coil and I guess I'm curious as to how the 1g coil works if sitting in the stock location on the manifold. This is the order I have currently [3.2.4.1] let me know if that is incorrect. This image below shows [4.1.2.3]

If you have 1/4 and 3/2 on the same coil and it's not working, try swapping plugs/coils.
And double check your timing..

If you have link and the 6 bolt swap check box or whatever it's called is checked, then you'll need to use the 1g firing order.

Tomorrow I think I will try locking my timing with dsmlink and then if needed swap around the plug wires. The box is checked in dsmlink I noticed that last night.

Problem ended up being the power transistor was slightly unplugged and the bracket was loose. Car is running better but found out the water pump is leaking so I'm sure after tearing it down something else will happen!!!
